Netflix is giving Food Network a run for its money these days. The streaming service has launched several new food shows in the last year, including Somebody Feed Phil, Nailed It, and Ugly Delicious. Yesterday, Netflix added another series to the roster, and it's hosted by one of the most popular names in the baking biz.

While details on the show are sparse, Netflix promises this: "Sugar Rush is the new, relentlessly fast-paced baking competition that challenges brilliant bakers to create sweet treats that look beautiful and taste amazing - all against the clock." We're imagining a Great British Bake-Off-style show, but with a bit more hustle. Sugar Rush is produced by Dancing Elves, the same company behind Top Chef, Top Chef Jr., and Tim & Faith: Soul2Soul.

The competitions will be judged by Candace Nelson, the genius behind Sprinkles Cupcakes, and Adriano Zumbo, an Australian pastry chef who competed on MasterChef Australia. Hunter March of Awesomeness TV and Emogenius will host.

Netflix hasn't yet said when the show will be available to stream, but they did confirm there will be eight episodes. The announcement was made in conjunction with two other new Netflix original reality shows: The Fix, in which comics and 'experts' try and save the world, and Westside, a Real World-meets-The Hills sounding show that follows musicians trying to make it in Los Angeles.
