NRL great, turned prize fighter, Paul Gallen has stormed out of the press conference ahead of his boxing bout with Kris Terzievski.

Gallen and Terzievski will headline a stacked card with Harry Garside and Nikita Tszyu in Sydney on Wednesday night.

However, Gallen appeared fed-up with his heavyweight opponent following Terzievski's antics the other day at a press opportunity.

Gallen was clearly harbouring anger following Terzievski's no-show last week.

And when it came to his turn to speak on stage, Gallen let rip at his opponent.

The former Sharks great praised the fighters on the card and said it was part of his job to promote the fight.

However, he called out his opponent for his apparent lack of promotion in the lead-up to the heavyweight bout.

“But one thing that has frustrated the crap out of me the last 20 minutes sitting here is I’ve heard three or four blokes talk about the publicity they’re going to get," he said

“Now that’s my job to provide a platform for them, to get them out, Kris you’ve done nothing to sell this fight. Nothing.

“There was more media at the media day the other day than an NRL grand final. You didn’t turn up because it didn’t fit in your schedule, so I’m not going to sit here for one more minute and f—king promote him."

Gallen said he was going to 'bash' Terzievski before dropping the mic and storming off set.

Terzievski admitted he was 'surprised' at Gallen's actions.

Paul Gallen hits out at rival

Gallen had previously hit out at Terzievski and labelled him a 'soft c**k' after the no-show last week.

“It’s his time to shine, it’s his time to get his name in the sun ... and he won’t even show up for media commitments.

“He’s a soft c**k."

Tszyu will be up against Mason Smith and is expected to have a more difficult time than in his first bout, which he won in two rounds.

Garside is up against Layton McFerran only 35 days after his 10-round victory on his pro debut.
