NSYNC reunited for the second time this month. Following the iconic boy band's surprise appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone joined Sean Evans for their own episode of Hot Ones.

In case you're unfamiliar with the series, here's the gist: Evans invites celebs to eat hot wings until they're crying and guzzling milk for a sweet relief. Now, because the show has never brought on quite so many guests at once either, the boys were faced with a challenge: 60 wings and even spicier questions.

While downing the fiery chicken, Evans rifled off questions for the band—including whether they were in talks for a reunion tour of their own (to which they stayed tight-lipped) and why Justin infamously pronounced "me" as "may" in the first place.

"I don’t remember the specifics … but I sang, 'It’s gonna be me,' and he was like, 'No, no, no, no, no.' And he was like, 'It’s May,'" Timberlake said of NSYNC's hit song, "It's Gonna Be Me," which has been trolled by fans every year when the month of May rolls around.

"The parts of their English that were broken actually made them catchier songwriters, because they would put words away they almost didn’t make sense but when you sang them, they were more memorable," he added.

While Evans and the boys got into plenty of nostalgic convos, the past wasn't the only topic of discussion. NSYNC also chatted about their new song, "Better Place," which will appear in the upcoming Trolls Band Together movie.

"For our fans that have been with us for so long, you know to give them something that felt not necessarily nostalgic but familiar," Timberlake said. Chasez chimed in, saying, "When we listen to the world today we’re obviously influenced by 20 years of experiences but we still want to give them us."

We're still waiting with bated breath about a new tour, boys. 👀
