A Northern Territory fugitive has been found hiding in a roof after three weeks on the run.
Ronald Kelly, 22, was arrested at 7am on Monday.
Police believe he was involved in a break-in at a Fannie Bay home on May 26, when five rifles, a shotgun, ammunition and a car were stolen.
During a five-hour siege the next day four others were arrested but police said Kelly managed to escape before a cordon was set up.
Detective Acting Superintendent Lee Morgan said Kelly was found at a Driver home early on Monday.
"He'd been sleeping in the roof of that residence, so clearly trying his hardest to avoid police," he told the ABC on Monday.
He said Kelly wasn't armed at the time of his arrest.
"We believed he might be able to assist us with our investigations into some stolen firearms; we could never 100 per cent put those firearms in his possession but his name was mentioned during that investigation so we were concerned he had access to them," he said.
