Offset Really Wants to Buy Reese Witherspoon's Dad's Car
In a masterful piece of quarantine marketing, Reese Witherspoon and Offset got together on Instagram Live to talk about their new Quibi shows. While they managed to name drop their projects (a nature show called Fierce Queens for her and car-centric program Skrrt With Offset for him), what really got them talking was a passion for automobiles. And not just any cars — when Witherspoon brought up her dad's passion for Chevy El Dorados, Offset insisted that he wanted in on that collection.

Witherspoon was surprised to learn that her father's collection of El Dorado's could bring him a pretty big payday. When Offset offered to take a few of the vehicles off of Witherspoon's father's hands, she was all about it, saying that she was more than happy to help out.

It's not the only online appearance Witherspoon made today. Earlier, during a talk with Jennifer Lopez, who is also promoting a Quibi show, Thanks a Million. The two talked about Legally Blonde, not American muscle cars, and the possibility of a third installment.
"Well, no, there's a 2 but I'm thinking we might be working on a 3," Witherspoon replied when Lopez mistakenly said there was a third chapter in the Elle Woods's cinematic universe.
"You should. You should," Lopez said. "That character was so amazing and so empowering and inspiring. Yeah, it's great for girls."
