Hit crime caper Only Murders in the Building has released a new trailer for season two, which is ready to drop on Disney+ at the end of June and guest stars Cara Delevingne.

Star trio Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short are all back for the latest instalment and the trailer shows them plagued by an unknown enemy who is trying to frame them for murder.

Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles (Martin, Father Of The Bride), Oliver (Short, The Morning Show) and Mabel (Gomez, The Dead Don’t Die), are in a race to unmask her killer.

However, three unfortunate complications ensue - the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny's homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbours who all think they committed murder.

While fans will be pleased to see the show's lead cast returning, the trailer also teases some other familiar faces who have joined them for season two.

Amy Schumer, Shirley MacLaine and Cara Delevingne can all be seen in the trailer, while Tina Fey also makes a return as the host of the trio's favourite podcast.

True crime obsessives Charles, Oliver and Mabel saw the murder of Tim Kono solved at the end of season one, but when Mabel was found standing over Bunny's bloody corpse in the closing scenes, it set things up nicely for a season two.

In the trailer, Charles tells his friends they have an opportunity rarely presented to true crime podcasts - the possibility of a second series.

But as "evidence" relating to Bunny's murder keeps on turning up in their apartments, it seems someone is keen to frame them for the crime, leaving them forced to solve the mystery and clear their names, as well as hopefully making a hit new podcast into the bargain.

Only Murders in the Building, co-written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, launches season two on Disney+ on Tuesday, 28 June.
