Panera is known for its soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries, and well, bread! But now the chain is stepping in to a whole new food category that might make you finally switch your typical order of Broccoli Cheddar Soup...at least for a little bit. Panera announced that it will start offering flatbread pizza.

Starting today, you can order three different types of pizza, each served on a crispy crust the chain describes as a hearth-baked artisan flatbread. First up is the classic Margherita, which is topped with tomato sauce, red grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and shredded fontina and mozzarella cheeses. Next is the Chipotle Chicken & Bacon, made with garlic cream sauce, red grape tomatoes, pulled chicken breast, applewood smoked pork bacon, and shredded fontina and mozzarella cheeses. It's topped with cilantro and a drizzle of chipotle aioli. Finally, for those who keep it simple, you can get a classic Cheese Flatbread topped with tomato sauce and shredded fontina and mozzarella cheeses.

The pizzas start at $7.99 and are perfect for devouring on your own or sharing as a family along with some other sides. However you slice it (hah!) these look really good. Panera also said that it has doubled its delivery business, so you can get the full pizza experience by ordering online and picking it up for the fam. That said, no one would blame you for popping a giant cinnamon roll into your online cart as well. It is still Panera after all!
