Paris Hilton and Angela Bassett Lead a Star-Studded Runway at Mugler Show During Paris Fashion Week
The show — which marked Bassett's runway debut — also featured Irina Shayk, Helena Christensen and Amber Valletta
Mugler’s Paris Fashion Week show was a star-studded affair!
Angela Bassett and — fittingly — Paris Hilton led the charge, walking the runway on Monday in looks from the fashion house’s Spring 2024 collection.
Paris, 42, swapped her usual glitzy, Y2K-inspired style out for an all-black ensemble that boasts all of the brand’s signature motifs, from futuristic, pointed silhouettes to sharp cutouts.
The fashion mogul walked the runway in a boxy, structured look complete with a high-neck top, corset bodice and miniskirt with not one, but two thigh-high slits. She wore black kitten heels and carried a sleek leather handbag.

The “Stars are Blind” singer’s signature blond tresses were slicked back into a bun, so as not to distract from the dress’s razor-sharp neckline. Like her outfit, her makeup had a twinge of darkness, from her smoky lids to her ultra-long eyelash extensions, which practically reached her temples.
Bassett, 65, took the runway shortly after Paris, making her catwalk debut in a billowy black gown.
Like the former reality star, the Black Panther actress’ ensemble featured an ultra-high, straight-across neckline and kitten heels — but that is where the similarities end.
The actress was a vision in a sheer, black midi dress whose train trailed for several feet behind her. Layered underneath the gown was a black bodysuit complete with a deep V-neck and, in true Mugler fashion, several cutouts.
The American Horror Story star’s glam — like the atmosphere of the show — was cool-toned, from her silver-and-black eye look to her brown ombré lip. Like Paris, she also sported extra long lashes, and her hair was pulled into a sleek low ponytail.
The Mugler muses also met behind the scenes of the show, a photo of the pair shared by Paris’ sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild on Instagram Stories.

Industry greats including Irina Shayk, Helena Christensen and Amber Valletta also walked in the brand's star-studded show.
Shayk, 37 — who walked in a blazer bodysuit with a long train — hit the catwalk with the sheer train over her face before flipping it down mid-walk, footage shared by Dazed on TikTok shows.
Christensen, 54, also wore a bodysuit with exaggerated, pointy shoulders and a structured bottom, which was layered over skin-tight black pants with hip cutouts. She provided a rare pop of color with a bold red lip.
Valletta’s Mugler look featured the most cutouts of all. The model-actress, 49, wore a strappy black, highly structured top over a nude bodysuit, and a pair of skintight, thigh-high nude and black boots.

Prior to the Mugler show, Paris was already having an exciting Paris Fashion Week with her sister Nicky. The Hiltons took their sisterly bond to several events, where they twinned in matching outfits.
At the Valentino show on Sunday, Paris wore head-to-toe pink and Nicky sported an all-red ensemble, prompting the latter sister to write on Instagram that the blond duo was giving "Valentino Barbie vibes."

After a quick outfit change, the sisters hit the Balenciaga show in more muted ensembles. Paris wore a sparkly, silver floor-length dress, and Nicky wore a skintight black bodysuit and floor-length gray trench coat. Both sisters completed their looks with oversize black sunnies.
Inside the show with stars like Kris Jenner and Ashley Graham, the duo were "Balenciaga Babes," Paris mused on Instagram.
The duo’s other Fashion Week looks included complementary polka-dot dresses at the Zimmermann womenswear show on Monday and, later in the day, lacy slip dresses at Stella McCartney's show.
