Paul Marsh: Boy, 16, charged with murdering stabbed man

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murdering a man who was killed in a stabbing.

Paul Marsh, 49, was found unconscious in a home in Samuel Street, Atherton, Wigan, at about 18:00 GMT on Friday, Greater Manchester Police said.

Emergency crews treated him at the scene but he died shortly afterwards.

The teenager, who cannot be named, was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester Youth Court on Wednesday.

Paying tribute, Mr Marsh's relatives said he was a son, brother, partner and father who was "was loved unconditionally".
