Speaking about Cassandra's 1991 death in a PEOPLE cover story the following year, the Mamma Mia! actor said of Christopher, who was 19 when his mother died, “I can see the pain in Christopher’s eyes, the absence in his heart for his mother."
Christopher studied filmmaking at both UCLA and the New York Film Academy and served on the production crew of many of Pierce's films, including Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and The Thomas Crown Affair.
