With Poldark's Dwight Enys safely back in Cornwall, it seems like he and wife Caroline may finally get their happy ending after such a turbulent time.

But actors Luke Norris and Gabriella Wilde have revealed that it won't be plain sailing for the couple.

Discussing Caroline's pregnancy storyline on This Morning, Wilde said: "Caroline is resistant of it. But it's nice to have something that roots them all together after all they have been through.

"Now it's out there, it's exciting. There's a good storyline for them to come. Luke has recently become a parent, I'm a parent, so there's a lot to relate to there."

Fishing for details, Phillip Schofield said that one thing the audience knows for definite is how "[Caroline] goes back to London, [Dwight] stays in Cornwall".

"Things are wonderful for them for a short time, then things become complicated again because it's Poldark and that's what happens," Norris added.

"All the relationships are very complex and they have a tough time."

Holly Willoughby added that there are "challenging scenes to come" for the couple.

"It was definitely my most challenging series with Poldark," Wilde said. "The scenes we have to come, it was great to share it with Luke."

Norris added: "Bad luck befalls them once again. It was tough."

Poldark recently returned to the BBC for its fourth series, with star Aidan Turner getting shirtless almost straightaway.

But despite his picture being splashed on the front page of every tabloid newspaper, the actor said he doesn't feel objectified by the attention.

Turner told Newsnight: "I've never felt objectified. I think sometimes other people want to feel that for you, which can be quite a strange thing.

"We're not doing anything in our show that... I mean, Game of Thrones probably has far more nudity, or Vikings, or any of these shows, than we would have.

"So I never quite understood why our show was picked in particular, or why these images were concentrated on more so than any other shows, or other images of actors who've gone topless for any sex scenes."
