Presidents Cup 2022: How to watch, follow Team USA at Quail Hollow

The 14th Presidents Cup will kick off later this week in North Carolina, where Team USA will attempt to pick up their ninth-straight win in the event.

Though the biennial event has been dominated by the United States since its inception in 1994, both team rosters look significantly different this time around amid golf’s internal feud surrounding the LIV Golf Invitational Series — as players on that controversial Saudi Arabian-backed league aren’t allowed to compete in the Presidents Cup.

Here’s everything you need to know to keep up with the Presidents Cup this week.

Where is the Presidents Cup?

What happened last time?

The United States, led by playing-captain Tiger Woods, beat the International Team 16-14 in 2019 at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia.

The International Team actually held a 10-8 lead heading into the final day, and had a real chance to hand Team USA just its second loss in the event’s history. The only other International Team win came in 1998 at Royal Melbourne, too.

Yet it was Woods, who went 3-0-0 on the week himself, who led Team USA out on a dominant Sunday. The Americans won six singles matches and tied four to escape Australia with the two-point win.
