Princess Beatrice 'goes public' with new boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

Princess Beatrice appears to have gone public with new boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The royal, 30, and property developer made their debut at the Third Annual Berggruen Prize Gala in New York on Monday night,” according to Hello! magazine.

While the pair were not pictured together, they were reportedly seen chatting with fellow guests, who included Beatrice’s friend Karlie Kloss.

Beatrice is rumoured to have met Edoardo, a 34-year-old divorcée a month before her sister Eugenie’s wedding in October.

The two have been dating for just over two months and the royal has already introduced him to her parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

“They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad,” a source revealed to The Sun.

“Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time.”

Her new beau has a two-year-old son, Wolfie, from his previous marriage and works as the CEO of Banda Property, which he founded in 2007. Edoardo is the son of Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi and Nikki Shale.

The princess has been single since splitting from her American boyfriend Dave Clark in 2016 after a decade together. He went on to married Lynn Anderson, a New York advertising executive, in a lavish wedding ceremony in Puglia, Italy in July earlier this year.

Beatrice was her younger sister Eugenie’s maid of honour at her wedding to Jack Brooksbank on October 12. She wore a blue Ralph & Russo dress and a matching Sarah Cant hat.

Traditionally, a bride would be accompanied down the aisle by her maid of honour and bridesmaids but Beatrice bucked tradition to support her mother Fergie, so she didn’t have to arrive at St George’s Chapel in Windsor alone.

Fergie has had a somewhat fraught relationship with the Royal Family since her divorce from the Duke of York in 1996 and has only recently been welcomed back into the fold, having attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May.
