Princess Beatrice's wedding dress belonged to the Queen
Princess Beatrice's wedding dress was a vintage gown loaned to her by the Queen, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi married in an intimate ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor on Friday, 17 July. The Palace has released two official photographs from their wedding day.

The royal bride also wore the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara belonging to the monarch, which Her Majesty wore on her wedding day in 1947.
Beatrice's dress held significance as it was designed by Norman Hartnell, who created the Queen's own wedding dress and coronation dress. The designer also made Princess Margaret's wedding gown. The palace revealed that the dress was remodelled and fitted for Beatrice by the Queen's dresser Angela Kelly and dressmaker Stewart Parvin.
The vintage gown was made from Peau De Soie taffeta in shades of ivory, trimmed with ivory Duchess satin, and features organza sleeves. It's also encrusted with diamanté details and beads, and has a geometric bodice.
In the first image shared by the palace, Beatrice and Edoardo can be smiling as they emerge from the chapel's entrance, which is adorned with pink and white flowers. In the second picture, the couple are outside the entrance with the Queen, Beatrice's grandmother, and Prince Philip.
It is believed to be the first time the Queen and Prince Philip have attended a family gathering since lockdown began.
Beatrice's parents, the Duke and Duchess of York, did not feature in either of the released images. However, the palace confirmed her father walked her down the aisle.
The couple were due to tie the knot at the Chapel Royal of St James's Palace at the end of May, but cancelled the ceremony in March due to the pandemic.
