Princess Beatrice shows off her baby bump for the first time

It's royal baby news central right now, and you're about to feel even more warm and glowy after you see the first photos of Princess Beatrice out and about with a beautifully blossoming baby bump. It's been three weeks since the royal family announced that Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (also known as Edo) were expecting a baby, almost a year after the pair got married.

In a statement from Buckingham Palace, it was announced: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Now, a few weeks later, the royal parents-to-be have been photographed out and about - and Princess Beatrice's pregnancy is clear for the world to see. The couple were pictured on Saturday having lunch outdoors at a London restaurant, and underneath the Princess' green dress was a blooming bump. In one photograph, Beatrice can be seen cradling her stomach in a heart-warming display of affection for her unborn child, while Edo walks closely alongside, looking lovingly his wife.

32-year-old Beatrice - who is thought to be around five or six months pregnant - will become a mother for the first time when the couple's baby arrives in the autumn, but her husband Edo is already a dad. Edo already has a little boy named Christopher (nicknamed 'Wolfie') who was born in 2016 with his ex-partner Dara Huang.

The couple's little one is due to become the Queen's twelfth great-grandchild (with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby girl, Lili, having slotted in as the eleventh). It will also have a cousin and playmate in August Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's four-month-old son, so right now the royal family is inundated with babies!

It's still a good few months until baby Mapelli-Mozzi is due to arrive, but we can't wait to see more of Princess Beatrice as her pregnancy progresses...
