It's almost been a week since Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tied the knot in their secret wedding ceremony last Friday, but the tributes to the happy couple are still pouring in.

The latest offering comes from Princess Beatrice's mother Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, whose celebratory post has revealed the sweet nickname Beatrice's family have for her new husband.

In an Instagram text post responding to the wedding, the Duchess shared a quote which reads, "Happiness cannot be travelled to, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. (Denis Waitley)".

She accompanied the post with a caption expressing how "proud" she felt watching the wedding of her daughter Beatrice and "Dear Edo."

The Duchess wrote, "Thank you to all the very special and kind people that took the time and trouble to send amazingly caring and supportive messages ... never has a mother been more proud than the wedding of Eugenie and Jack, and again with my Beatrice’s loving wedding to Dear Edo. I am so lucky with my girls, and now the best sons-in-law."

The Duchess of York's reference to Edoardo as "Dear Edo" is so sweet, and it's not the first time he's been given the nickname.

Beatrice's younger sister, Princess Eugenie also shared her congratulations with the couple earlier this week, referring to "Dear Edo" with the same pet name.

So lovely!

Sharing pictures of the happy couple on their special day, Eugenie wrote, "Couldn't Bea happier (get it) 🐝... ⁣⁣What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo. I am so proud of you and I'm so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together. ⁣Happy wedding day to you both xxxx"

We wish Princess Beatrice and "Dear Edo" all the best in their new married life!
