Princess Eugenie's Father-In-Law Is Hospitalized for Coronavirus

Princess Eugenie's father-in-law, George Brooksbank, has been hospitalized after testing positive for coronavirus, according to multiple reports.

The 71-year-old has allegedly been suffering from COVID-19 symptoms for a couple of weeks, but only checked into the hospital several days ago. Per The Daily Mail, George is in "serious but stable condition," and was admitted to the intensive care unit. "It’s a traumatic time for Jack and Eugenie," a friend close to the couple told the outlet. "George has been very sick but the whole family has been rallying round to help."

Meanwhile, George's wife, Nicola, 66, was also diagnosed with the virus, but has not needed urgent medical care and is said to be recovering at home.

The news of George's illness comes two weeks after Eugenie's uncle Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19. Just seven days following his diagnosis, the royal was out of self isolation and "in good health." However, he and his wife, Camilla, are still keeping their distance from each other out of an abundance of caution.
