Can You Shop At Publix On Labor Day?
Labor Day weekend is upon us, which means it's time to round up friends and family for an end-0f-summer barbecue. We're ready to celebrate the last holiday of the season with some hot dogs, burgers, beer, and desserts. But before you fire up the grill, you need to make a stop at the grocery store, whether you're feeding a crowd or hosting a small get-together.
One of our favorite destinations for fun summer snacks and prepared foods is Publix. It's our go-to for fresh-baked cookies and deli sandwiches. Whenever you're hosting a big gathering, Publix is there to help you stock up on what you need.
But nothing is worse than driving all the way to the store only to realize that it's closed for the holiday. Every business operates differently—even different locations within the same chain—so it's hard to know for sure. Thankfully, we're here to give you the answers.
Is Publix Open On Labor Day?
And the best part? Publix is open on Labor Day, so you can stock up on last-minute ingredients before your backyard barbecue.
Publix locations will be open during regular hours on Labor Day, but their pharmacies will be closed. Be sure to double check your local store's hours ahead of your trip.
And if you need to make another stop to pick up some items that Publix may not carry, several other grocery stores will be open on the holiday.
