As we pay our respects to the Queen, it has been an emotional time here and around the world.
Among many poignant moments have been when the double rainbow appeared over Buckingham Palace as the public gathered to pay their respects to the late monarch in the hours after it was announced she’d died peacefully at Balmoral on 8 September.
Other emotive scenes came on 12 September, when the sun directly shined down on the Queen’s coffin during its procession in Edinburgh.
Then mourners were touched to see a ray of sun beamed down on Westminster Hall as people queued to pay their respects.
“I truly believe these were signs from our Queen to let her family know as well as the nation that she was at peace,” says Emma Kinsey, a psychic medium.
“A rainbow is a huge sign from our loved ones in the spirit world," Kinsey adds.
"I also believe that the sun shining on the coffin and her resting place was another huge sign from her confirming she is still looking down on us all from above.”
Now on Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on 19 September, many believe this sombre occasion will also be marked by significant symbols – and not just for the Royal Family.
“I think it will be one of the most spiritual days in history,” says Kinsey. “Everybody’s emotions on this day – including her families’ – will be felt in all of our energy.”
Kinsey explains that the Royal Family may experience messages as they say their final goodbye, as well as people who are watching the funeral could from their own loved ones.
“When we see a funeral it makes us remember the passing of our own loved ones. You may well see spiritual signs from them on this day too. When we think about our loved ones in heaven or speak to them they like to acknowledge to us they are around with signs.”
Kinsey is expecting to feel “heightened emotions” and “over whelm” during the funeral on Monday.
“I will be sitting watching the Queen’s funeral. As I am extremely spiritual and an empath, my feelings will be heightened.
“I will be feeling overwhelmed with everyone’s emotions and grief in the energy. This will certainly be a day of huge emotion for all of us as we come together to say our final goodbye and thanks to our Queen for her lifetime of service."
Her spiritual faith is of comfort to Kinsey, who has seen spirits from the age of six when her grandfather visited her on the night he died in hospital.
“I myself know that the Queen will already be in heaven and reunited with her prince and other family members. On a day that will probably bring great sadness to people around the world, I think it’s important that we all remember those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday.”
The spiritual signs and what they mean when seen at a loved one’s funeral
“The spirit world is always active, it’s not just on particular days. But on the Queen's funeral day we will all feel more spiritual due to everyone coming together,” says Kinsey
