Quvenzhané Wallis is all grown up!

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old actress and former child star appeared at the New York City premiere of her new Apple+ series Swagger, which is loosely based on the life of NBA star Kevin Durant. On the red carpet, Wallis donned a black leopard print pantsuit that included a bralette and blazer with orange sequins. And to further show how she understood the assignment, she paired the look with a small basketball purse.

Best known for her Oscar-nominated role in Beasts of the Southern Wild, which she filmed when she was 6 years old and became the youngest person to be nominated for an Oscar, and for the 2014 Annie reboot, Wallis has mostly remained out of the public eye and acted sparingly over the last few years prior to her Swagger role. She shared several photos on Instagram of her press tour for the show.

"Press photo dump y’all ready?!#Swagger is coming to y’all very soon Oct.29," she captioned the post.

Celebrity friends and fans were loving the star's look grown-up look.

"Pretty lady," Marsai Martin wrote.

"You fine," co-star Shinelle Azoroh said.

"Annie looks different here," a fan added.

"Missed you on our screens," a user commented.

Despite her absence in front of the screen, Wallis has published several children's books as well as focusing on her education. Her name made headlines during the summer after old tweets by Chrissy Teigen resurfaced from 2011 bashing the young star. Teigen tweeted at the time when Wallis had been nominated for an Oscar in 2013.

"Is it okay to call a small child cocky?" Teigen tweeted. "I am forced to like Quvenzhané Wallis because she's a child right? Okay fine."

As of October, Wallis has never addressed the tweets, but Teigen has since deleted the tweet and apologized to Wallis and others she targeted.
