Rachael Taylor 'humiliated' over Miss Teen Tasmania past

We've all done things we'd prefer to keep in the past but this one’s a real doozy.

Aussie actress Rachael Taylor went on The Fitzy & Wippa Show to talk about being made the face of Neutrogena, when the topic soon turned to that one "humiliating" time she went in the Miss Teen Tasmania competition.

"When will it go away?” she tells the hosts in the clip above. “I really want to scrub this from whatever Internet hole that it's in. It's the humiliation of my life. It was really embarrassing.”

She added: "I think they cancelled the competition. I think it's gone. It's been phased out.

"I think I got a gift voucher from, like, something quite odd, like a solarium or something," she said. "I got a $25 gift voucher or something."

The 32-year-old, who stars in Netflix series Jessica Jones alongside Krysten Ritter, made it to the state finals of the teen competition before embarking on her modeling career.

Since then, she’s made her mark in the acting world with roles in everything from TV's Dynasty and Charlie’s Angels to the 2007 Transformers movie.

Rachael appears next in the upcoming films Gold and Arq.

Yep, it's safe to say the days of "embarrassing" modeling comps are well and truly in this Aussie star's past.
