Radiohead's Thom Yorke Says He Doesn't 'Give a Flying F—-' About Band Reunion Rumors: 'No Offense to Anyone'
"Thanks for caring," he added to fans of the "Creep" band
Thom Yorke is making his feelings clear as day regarding a potential Radiohead reunion.
While speaking with Australian outlet Double J, an ABC affiliate, the hit band's vocalist shared how little he thinks of the speculative situations fans have put forth for the group to get back together.
"I am not aware of it and don't really give a flying f---," he said, adding, "No offense to anyone and err, thanks for caring. But I think we've earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else's historical idea of what we should be doing."
York said he thinks of Radiohead's success as a springboard for the career he's enjoyed since the group went on hiatus in 2018, noting he doesn't feel as though he has any further expectations to meet in that regard. "I don't think we feel the need to live up to anything," he continued. "That feels like a non-problem."

"We are in this privileged position where we are still able to make music because of Radiohead, so no complaints," the musician added.
During a May 2024 profile with The Guardian, bandmate Jonny Greenwood was less direct in shutting down the group's future, noting, “Well, the Smile are on tour, Ed is making another solo record, Colin is playing bass with Nick Cave — they’ve just done five sold-out nights at the Sydney State theatre — so lots of music is being made. Just not as Radiohead."

He added at the time, "We’re still talking all the time, we just need to make a plan and get some time together sorted out in advance. I’ve never been very good at that. Too busy d------ around in this studio.”
Radiohead's last album, A Moon Shaped Pool, was released in 2016.
