Hundreds flocked to Twitter to share their frustration at the outage. "Is Reddit down AGAIN," one person wrote. "Reddit is down, the time to touch grass has come," joked another.
"What is going on…over 35,000 reports that Reddit is down and over 1,000 reports that Bluesky is down. Anyone else?" questioned a third.
Reddit has approximately 500 million monthly active users globally, it is most popular among the 18-29 age group.
More to come.
