Reports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might elope
With so many people – including us – looking forward to the next royal wedding, this is not good news!
For the past 13 months the world has been captivated by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fairytale romance.
Of course, the relationship hasn’t been without it’s difficulties; dealing with almost 5000 kms distance between them, as well as the constant pressure of being in the public eye.
But now that it seems an engagement could be imminent, Us Weekly has revealed the pair may decide to elope.
A source reveals that he actually suggested to Meghan, whose own 2011 nuptials to talent manager Trevor Engelson took place on a Jamaica beach, “that they could get married somewhere private and elope, rather than have a showy wedding.”
While the pair now has the option of marrying at Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Duchess Kate exchanged vows in 2011, the source reveals Harry is envisioning a more outlying setting.
It comes after Prince Harry, who is the fifth in line to the British throne, revealed in June that wearing a crown never appealed to him.
“I spent many years kicking my heels and I didn’t want to grow up,” he admitted to the UK’s Mail on Sunday.

We’re of course hoping they don’t elope because there’s nothing more exciting than a royal wedding!
First though we need a proposal, which one insider says could be weeks away.
“My money is on a fall engagement,” the source says, adding the royal could get down on bended knee as soon as August 4, the Suits actress' 36th birthday.
Regardless of when it happens, its clear the Prince is in it for the long-haul.
“He wants to get married and have kids. He’s smitten,” a source said previously.
