Ryan slams Sophie after Jimmy's Bachelorette booting
Sophie Monk shocked everyone by booting fan fave James Trethewie on The Bachelorette and it seems some of her past potential lovers aren't too pleased with her decision.
After the 37-year-old decided to take Stu, Jarrod, Blake and Apollo through to hometown visits, Jimmy took to Instagram to bare his soul and open up about his love journey with Sophie in a mammoth two-post essay.
In the lengthy posts, the financial advisor thanked the former Bardot singer for their time together, saying he was "broken" over her decision to eliminate him so close to meeting his family.
Referring to the challenge he lost in the first round during the episode, where an E-Harmony expert told the pair they weren't "compatible", the NSW-based hunk said he understood Sophie's reasoning.
"I honestly have nothing but love & respect for you and hope more than anything we can turn our connection into one that's best mates as it'd be a shame to let it go completely," he wrote in the first part of the love note.
However there was one former love rival who seemingly wasn't too pleased with Sophie's decision to axe his friend, with Bachelorette villain Ryan Jones commenting on his mate's post, telling Jimmy not to worry about because he was "too good" for Sophie.
"Don't worry bro, your [sic] too good for someone who judges the potential of a relationship off a stupid pie chart anyway," the construction manager commented, referring to the E-Harmony compatibility challenge.

Ouch. Apparently there's no greater fury than a Ryan scorned.
Ryan wasn't the only would-be suitor to leave a comment of support for Jimmy either, with Stu Laundy, the rumoured winner of the Sophie's heart, also writing to his former competitor saying: "Love ya bro". Seems like the Bachelorette bromances are well and truly alive.
However there seems to be no hard feelings between Sophie and Jimmy, just a little heartbreak, with the 31-year-old thanking her for giving him "the best gift in life".
"I also want to thank you for one of the best gifts in life you could give me.. and that's facing my biggest fear, and I'm so grateful as now I feel I can accomplish & face anything life throws my way."
In a first for Sophie, the blonde beauty also shared a heartfelt post for her recent evictee on Instagram, saying while Jimmy is the "perfect guy" he's just not the perfect guy for her.
"James is the perfect guy unfortunately I’m not the perfect person for him. He is organised, together and tidy. I’ve dated a guy like him before and I'd do his head in. He’ll find a better girl than me x," she wrote.
