Samantha Armytage blasts major Australian company online: ‘Disgrace’
Samantha Armytage has taken aim at Australian financial services company AMP, calling them a “disgrace” on social media.
The former Sunrise star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her annoyance with the business’ customer service after she was left on hold for 90 minutes.
“AMP you are a disgrace…” she captioned a photo of her phone mid-call alongside several exploding head emojis.
“1.5 hours on hold (third time this week!!) and still waiting…”
On her Instagram story, she also drew an arrow pointing to her call time of one hour and 28 minutes.
Sam has also previously used her large social media platform to call out Jetstar after similarly being dissatisfied with their service.
Posting to her Instagram in 2019, she accused the airline of overcharging her when she booked a flight to Queensland and said that the staff were “rude” to her.
“Jetstar you are the worst!” she wrote.
“Paid $700 for last minute flights to Queensland for a funeral… Then charged $60 extra at gate home for same amount of carry-on as we flew up with, yesterday. Go figure?!?!”

She added that in the future she “will definitely choose Qantas or Virgin” to fly with instead.
“Not to mention how rude the staff are, while they’re charging you extra…” she continued in a follow-up post.
Sam’s Instagram post comes shortly after it was announced that she will feature on the next season of Farmer Wants A Wife as a special guest alongside host Natalie Gruzlewski.
Channel Seven said in a statement that the TV star will “help the farmers and ladies on their road to finding real love” and introduce each farmer to a new lady based on her own expertise and experience.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of the show and of country people, and I know first-hand that falling in love with a farmer is just about the most wonderful thing you can do,” Sam said.
