Sarah Paulson recalls being overwhelmed by Taylor Swift's gift

Sarah Paulson "thought [she] was going to faint" when she received a gift from Taylor Swift.
The 48-year-old actress is a huge fan of the Grammy-winning pop star and although she didn't get the chance to meet Taylor in person at one of her shows, Sarah was overwhelmed by her generosity.
Asked to recall the last time she felt starstruck, Sarah told PEOPLE: "Lupita [Nyong’o] and I went to see Taylor Swift. We didn’t meet her, but someone from her team gave us merchandise. They said, 'This is from Taylor' and I thought I was going to faint."
Like Taylor, Sarah is a self-confessed animal lover, and the actress has also been overwhelmed by various animal rescue stories.
Asked to recall the last time she cried, Sarah replied: "I follow a lot of animal rescues on Instagram. I have sorrowful tears when I first see the animal, and hopefully by a few days later I get happy tears that they’re rescued."
Meanwhile, Sarah previously claimed that working in the TV industry is currently more attractive than the movie business.
The actress - who won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her starring role in the TV series 'The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story' - claimed that the writing is actually stronger in the TV business.
Sarah told the BBC: "There was a time where nobody wanted to do television, it was just a bunch of dodos, and it was like, 'You can't get any film work, huh? Going over to TV? Aww, I'm sorry'.
"And now I feel like very accomplished people in the film world know that where the storytelling is, where the writing is, where the roles are, tend to be in television right now."
