The world and its wife has been enjoying social media's latest obsession #10YearChallenge, so it should come as no surprise that stars are now launching their own spin-offs.

We see you, 10-year challenge, and raise you 30 years.

Showcasing their (admittedly impressive) 30-year challenge on Twitter, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez staged a Saved by the Bell reunion for the meme.

"#QuickSelfie #MysterySolved," Mario wrote alongside a recent photo of him and Mark-Paul together and a side-by-side comparison of their characters on Saved by the Bell.

Gosselaar and Lopez played teenage heart-throb Zack Morris and star athlete AC Slater in the US teen series, but their roles in the hit sitcom haven't paid the dividends you'd expect.

Recently, Gosselaar admitted that he and the rest of the cast "made really bad deals" when negotiating their contracts, saying they don't earn very much in royalties.

"Poor deals, back then. It is what it is," he mused. "You move on, you learn. Great experience."

There'll be no money made off the back of that rumoured Saved by the Bell musical, then...
