Just when we thought 2020 couldn't possibly get any more bizarre, Scott Disick has messaged Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson on Instagram to criticise her for how she apparently treated Eyal Booker on the ITV dating show... in 2018.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 37, messaged Megan privately to tell her he'd recently watched Love Island, and asked her when she was "around to speak about it". After Megan messaged him back, Scott then promptly slammed her for "mugging" Eyal off (he's already picked up the Love Island lingo, then).
"I was recently introduced to a beautiful man named Eyal. When I went to see what he's done on TV I was astonished by your behaviour. To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humour and vulnerability. I'm extremely disturbed that anybody could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason. I would like to know if you'd be willing to write him an apology."
Megan, who shared the exchange to her Instagram Story, ended up breaking things off with Eyal early on in the series, telling him that they weren't compatible and weren't having as much fun as the other couples. She then delivered this line, "You’re not exactly Jim Carrey. I can't have fun with myself."
And Scott had clearly been paying extra special attention to that episode because he finished his message, "The fact that you told him he wasn't funny - when in fact, you are not Jim Carrey, is absurd."
Seriously, what even is 2020? And why do we keep bringing Jim Carrey into this?
All jokes aside, Megan said she was worried about the reality star for sending such a weird message to her. "It's not often I'm left speechless but... sorry?! What have I just read? Genuinely a little concerned about Scott tho," she added to her story.
Maybe he just really rates Eyal?
