MTV's newly-rebooted Scream series has signed up a TV teen horror veteran to lead the cast of its third season, in the form of Scream Queens' Keke Palmer.

Palmer earned her TV thriller stripes in two seasons of Fox's Scream Queens, which was cancelled earlier this year, and will now jump ship to MTV's slasher series as "rebel with a thousand causes" Kym.

The character is described as a "bold and beautiful social activist" who works to flip the script and survive at any cost when she and her friends find themselves being hunted by a killer.

And as for how long Kym survives the series? Well, MTV and Keke herself are making sure to leave us guessing, with Keke writng on Instagram: "My third horror project!! Will I survive????? Y'all better tune in for Kym!!! ]]>πŸŽƒπŸ’€πŸ‘»πŸ˜ˆπŸ”ͺπŸ”ͺπŸŽƒπŸ’€πŸ‘»πŸ˜ˆπŸ”ͺπŸ”ͺ
