Just two weeks in, The Voice UK may have already unearthed this year's competition winner.
Charismatic American singer Cedric Neal – who lives in a windmill of all places – took to the stage looking like he'd raided the Fresh Prince of Bel Air's wardrobe, but the crowd soon took him seriously after he began to loosen the vocal chords.
Performing Stevie Wonder's classic 'Higher Ground' with aplomb, Cedric's talents magnetised each judge, resulting in all four big red chairs spinning around.
Jennifer Hudson did her trademark shoe throw – which apparently means "you've got soul" – and both will.i.am and Olly Murs couldn't heap enough praise on the 43-year-old.
However, it was Sir Tom Jones who's lasso caught Cedric's true attention, and she wound up joining the iconic singer's team.
Cedric will be pleased to hear that his fans on social media are already crowning him the 2019 winner of The Voice UK – but isn't this a bit premature?

Viewers of musical reality shows have some recent history with predicting competition winners. Just last October it was The X Factor fans calling out Dalton Harris to be the champion early on.
Low and behold, Dalton sailed through to the final and won the record deal fairly comfortably.
Cedric, this could be your year sir.
The Voice UK returns next Saturday (January 19) at 8pm on ITV.
