Sharon Osbourne has switched up her trademark red hair for a brand new platinum white/blonde look.

The TV personality debuted her dramatic colour transformation via celebrity colourist, Jack Martin who shared an image of her hair overhaul on Instagram alongside an older photograph of her previous deep red locks.

The process took a whopping eight hours from start to finish and left the British star completely transformed.

He explained that Osbourne, 67, had been colouring her hair every week for the past 18 years, but had grown ‘very tired’ of trying to maintain the bold shade.

“Another great day in my career welcoming the most beautiful and elegant talk show host and entertainer Sharon Osbourne for a complete transformation,” Martin wrote.

“Sharon has 100% white hair and she was colouring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years.

“She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster.”

Fans react

After sharing the new colour reveal, many Instagram users turned to the comments to praise the TV host’s new look, and her stylist for achieving the results.

“Her face looks so soft now....beautiful job for a beautiful lady!” one person wrote.

“Amazing!” agreed another. “She looks so soft and beautiful.”

“She literally looks like royalty with white hair,” another user commented.

Hairdresser to the stars

Sharon Osbourne isn’t the only celebrity Martin has recently transformed with colour. He was also responsible for Jane Fonda’s new grey hue, which she debuted at the Oscars earlier this month.

“I had the honour and the pleasure to transform the legendary actress @janefonda hair specially for the 2020 Oscars,” he wrote alongside an image of the pair together.

“Spending 7 hours with this amazing Hollywood star and witnessing her energy, beauty, strength and femininity was so inspiring.”
