The disturbing footage was sent to the Daily Telegraph by a parent who witnessed the brawl.

NSW Police confirmed to Yahoo News Australia officers were called to Coogee Bay Oval in Coogee on Friday, September 24 following reports a teenage girl was assaulted by two other girls.

In the video, a group of girls are seen sitting on the grass at the oval, with one young woman standing over them.

In another clip of the incident, three girls are seen standing over the group sitting on the ground, one girl seen standing and wearing a black bathing suit is seen lunging at a girl on the ground.

The girl in the black bathing suit is seen dragging the other girl and hitting her repeatedly.

A vicious brawl ensues between the two girls, with others appearing to try and break up the fight, however, the Daily Telegraph reported a group of males can be heard in the video egging the fight on.

"Hit her," the men allegedly say in the video.

NSW Police said officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are conducting inquiries regarding the incident.

The parent who filmed the video and shared it with The Daily Telegraph said he wants the person in the video to be tracked down by police.

"It was sickening for me to watch," he said.

"She can't be let to get away with this thinking she can just attack people, and not have any consequence and the young blokes egging her on should also be tracked down and charged for inciting the violence."
