‘The Simpsons’ Sets Christmas Special & More Exclusive Episodes For Disney+, Season 35 Premiere Date
Four never-before-seen episodes of The Simpsons are headed exclusively to Disney+ this year, including a Christmas-themed double episode. Additionally, the 18-episode Season 35 of the veteran animated comedy, which wrapped its run on Fox in May, is set to debut on the streamer on October 2, Disney announced at D23 on Saturday night.
The four exclusive Simpsons episodes for Disney+ are titled “The Past and the Furious,” “Yellow Planet,” and “O C’mon All Ye Faithful” (the double episode).

This October, Disney+ will also debut a new Halloween-themed Simpsons shortl.
These are the first full-length Simpsons episodes produced exclusively for Disney+; the series has previously produced original shorts for the streamer, which houses the show’s library.
The move to launch exclusive episodes of The Simpsons on Disney+ is similar to the one its studio, 20th Television Animation, recently made for another animated series on Fox, Family Guy, setting two holiday special on Hulu.
