Simpsons writer reveals 'Who Shot Mr Burns?' cut scenes
We may feel a little differently about The Simpsons these days, but that certainly doesn't stop us from reminiscing about the classic era.
Which is why we're totally loving writer Josh Weinstein for revealing deleted scenes from the animation's iconic 'Who Shot Mr Burns?' episodes from way back when in season six/seven.
Weinstein shared excerpts from the episodes' original scripts over on Twitter, giving fans an insight into Homer as a fugitive and yet another of Milhouse's ridiculous predicaments.

Oh, how we wish we could see Milhouse with his head stuck in a globe.
This isn't the first time the writer and producer has divulged some of the show's cut scenes online – Josh recently revealed a very surprising alternate fate for Hans Moleman.
Y'know, the man getting hit by a football?

Sharing a look at another moment that didn't make it into season seven, Weinstein shared a snippet from '22 Short Films About Springfield', featuring Moleman as an action hero.
Poor Moleman didn't get his own scene in the end, but he did enjoy a scene playing cards with gangsters, shortly before stealing Rainier Wolfcastle's Ferrari and then dying.
"One tantalising page of the long crazy Moleman story we cut entirely from '22 Short Films' where the joke was he was acting out of character," Josh explained.
Perhaps that's something to revisit for the second Simpsons Movie? Well, it is in "the very earliest stages" of development, after all.
