They say fortune favours the brave – and if this week’s Snooker Shoot Out was anything to go by, snooker players must be the bravest in the world.

Good luck was there at every turn in this year’s event in Milton Keynes, with the frantic nature of the shot-clock event throwing up all sorts of drama.

And it wouldn’t be a Shoot Out without plenty of flukes to get your teeth stuck into, with this year’s event throwing up more than ever.

Fans may have been missing but the drama certainly wasn’t – with Lady Luck smiling down on plenty of players across four-days of mad action.
