Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Clifton has seemingly denied tabloid speculation that she's separating from her fellow Strictly pro husband Kevin.
Several newspaper reports have claimed that the pair have split, but Karen told The Sun yesterday that while "nothing is perfect," they were still together.
"We're a regular couple, we've been together for seven years, and like any other relationship, you have ups and downs," Karen said.
"We just need to keep pushing. Relationships take work. It's not as easy as you think, especially being in a job like Strictly.
"We're not a superhuman couple, we're normal, so when things happen, we fight."
Karen was this year paired with Simon Rimmer, and the couple were eliminated in week six after their American Smooth to 'Delilah'.
Kevin was paired with fan favourite Susan Calman, which was not without its controversy.
Some viewers felt that Susan, who is gay and married, should be paired with a female pro, but the comedian disagreed.
Susan and Kevin were eliminated in week ten after their American Smooth to 'Beyond The Sea'.
In his exit speech, Kevin thanked Karen, saying: "When Strictly is on, I'm not the easiest person to live with – I go a bit mad – so I'd like to say first of all, thanks to my wife for putting up with me."
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday (December 9) with its semi-finals at 6.45pm on BBC One. The semi-final results show airs this Sunday (December 10) from 7.15pm, also on BBC One.
