Strike on university ‘hit my heart’ -Mykolaiv mayor

STORY: Oleksandr Senkevych said there were no casualties from the C-300 rockets that hit Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.

Senkevych said he's an alumni of the university, and met his wife there.

“This strike hit my heart," he said.

The university's director said the school had hid equipment, and were prepared for 'anything to happen.'

Mykolaiv, a southern Ukrainian city located 37 miles northwest of Russian-occupied Kherson, has been a focal point since early in the conflict.
