Stunning never-before-seen snap of Princess Beatrice's wedding

A stunning new photo of Princess Beatrice's wedding day has been shared by her mother the Duchess of York.

The previously unseen black and white snap shows Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli and features a thank you note on the back by Sarah Ferguson.

The photo was shared to Instagram by a royal fan, who received it as a thank you for her well wishes on Fergie's daughter's wedding day in July.

The Instagram user wrote, "A beautiful reply from the Duchess of York for Beatrice and Edo wedding. Love the photo. Thanks Sarah!"

They shared the thank you message that came with the photo, which read, "Thank you so much for your amazingly caring and supportive messages for Beatrice and Edo's future happiness.

"It was a glorious day; the sun smiled down on them. We were delighted to be able to come together and celebrate their love for one another.

"Beatrice looked stunning and Edo handsome – their love shone through.We are so happy to welcome Edo into our family and thank him for his love and devotion to Beatrice.

"Thank you for many years of kindness and loyalty," the note ended.

One follower commented on the snap, "What a beautiful card from Sarah, she really knows how to send the sweetest thank yous."

"Sooo lovely and - oh my God, new pic!" another said.

"Wowowowowow so kind of her to send a never seen before photo !!!! Now I cannot wait for mine to come," someone else enthusiastically wrote.

The small wedding was held on July 17 and was attended by her immediate family including the Queen and Prince Philip.

The Princess paid tribute to her royal gran by wearing a vintage dress owned by the Queen, as well as the same tiara the monarch donned for her own nuptials back in 1947.

The couple had been due to get married on 29 May at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace in London, followed by a reception in the garden of Buckingham Palace. However, the service was postponed due to the coronavirus.
