All the Stunning Photos from Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima’s Two Weddings (Exclusive)
The couple celebrated with an elegant October affair in California's wine country, followed by a big November party in Austin
So nice they did it twice!
Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison and producer Lauren Zima said "I do" on Oct. 14, 2023, in Napa Valley, California, celebrating again on Nov. 4 with friends in Austin, Texas.
“As much as we wanted an intimate weekend for our wedding ceremony in Napa, we also wanted to celebrate getting married with all the great friends we have — hence this bigger party,” Zima told PEOPLE. “They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and that’s what we’re leaning into,” Harrison added.
Here, see all the gorgeous photos from the newlyweds' two celebrations.
They Do
Harrison and Zima first wed in a ceremony officiated by close friend Mike Levitt.
"We would visit Napa a lot when we lived in Southern California," said Harrison, who proposed to Zima in wine country. "And through the years, we have made so many incredible friends, so many lasting memories there. It's just a place that has really become important to us."
From the Heart
The bride and groom wrote their own vows for the special day, reciting them in front of the crowd in a personal twist.
Harrison's kids — daughter Taylor and son Joshua — were part of the small bridal party.
The Newlyweds
Zima's A-line, satin gown helped her "feel confident and like myself on the day of the wedding," she shared. "This dress is 'classic with a twist': simple, timeless ... and it has pockets!"
Picture Perfect
The pair's October wedding date let them take advantage of harvest season in Napa, "one of the most beautiful times of the year," Harrison said. "It's the oranges, the deep greens — everything's kind of turning over right now. That kind of set the aesthetic that Lauren then took and gave us the palette for the wedding."
At the Table
Dinner at the Roy Estate celebrated the region's delicious wines, with a menu by chef Tom Stafford consisting of a Caprese salad with burrata, short rib ravioli with mascarpone and a third course choice of Texas wagyu filet with vegetables, salmon or quail.
In lieu of a wedding cake, the pair served a chocolate delice mousse with black currant and crunchy meringue, to pair with a Cabarnet.
Drink to That
"Great people, great wine, we're good to go," Zima shared of the reception. "And that's really all you need for a great wedding."
Party People
Of the venue, Zima told PEOPLE, "The tasting room is stunning: with views of the vineyards, and indoor and outdoor elements on two levels — yet it feels cozy and intimate."
Cheers!
The pair kept Napa to "an intimate weekend with our closest friends and family to give dedicated, emotional time to reflect and celebrate with the people we love who have been with us since the start of our relationship," Zima said. "We knew we'd have an unforgettable time."
With This Rose
At the ceremony Zima walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "La Vie en Rose," in part a nod to the Bachelor rose ceremonies.
"Roses are such a thing in our lives — it brought us together," Zima said. "We met because I covered The Bachelor."
Dance the Night
Following the reception, the group moved on to The Archer Hotel for a rooftop afterparty filled with music, cocktails and late-night bites like fries, fried chicken sandwiches, pizza and donut holes.
On to Texas
“Doing the second event in Austin [where we live full-time] gave us the ability to include all of our friends, and also made sure that we didn’t leave our wedding feeling like we didn’t even see any of our loved ones — a story we’ve heard before,” Zima explained to PEOPLE. The guest list had 225 people, and the pair went "full Texas," as Harrison said, with an outdoor barbecue.
Short and Sweet
Zima's minidress by Justin Alexander Signature featured puff sleeves, lace and sequin details. She paired the look with Cape Robbins boots "for the perfect cowgirl cocktail look," she said. (Harrison wore his own pair of Tecovas!)
Bachelor Buds
The Texas guest list included all sorts of Bachelor Nation alumni, including (from left): Jojo Fletcher, Jessica and Ben Higgins.
Stage Right
Higgins and Bachelor in Paradise favorite Wells Adams gave a toast to the couple halfway through the celebration.
Sing Thing
Adams' wife Sarah Hyland got down on the dance floor.
Twice as Fun
The newlyweds celebrated with two other Bachelor Nation newlyweds: Colton Underwood and Jordan C. Brown, who wed in May.
Old Friends
Sean and Catherine Lowe were also among the Bachelor-adjacent guests.
To Forever
"I am so happy," Zima said. "I feel so grateful and so blessed for my life with Chris every single day. He's the best partner. I feel so supported."
Life of the Party
The couple's goal was achieved with the Nov. 4 celebration: "We wanted this night to be a big party, Texas style," Zima said, "with our friends new and old."
