These Super Secret Fashion Labels Are the Key to Dressing Luxe on a Budget

If you love perusing fancy clothing sites, but don't have a, well, equally fancy budget, I've got news for you: You can still buy chic designer-looking clothes at a lower-than-usual price point. How is this you ask? Shopping from in-house brands, duh.
An "in-house" brand is when a retailer designs and launches its own brand that's exclusive to its site. And typically the prices are more affordable than other luxury labels because the company doesn't have to mark up the prices like they normally would to cover the wholesale cost. Basically, the important thing to know is that these are the retailers and labels you should shop from to look like you're wearing designer when you're totally not!
The Outnet: Iris & Ink
Yes, The Outnet is a treasure trove of discounted designer pieces, but its own label Iris & Ink is actually one of the top-selling brands on the site. It has a minimal vibe with cute prints, bold colors, and transitional designs that work for the the office and the weekend. (The label also has workout clothes and swimwear!)
Need Supply Co.: Farrow, Stelen, and NEED
This retailer has a bunch of its own labels with cute, trendy styles that don't require you to spend all your money. Farrow has fashion-forward jewelry and hair accessories with low price points, and has both unique designs and everyday staples to add to your closet.
From bike shorts and fancier maxi dresses to earrings and shoulder bags, you can pretty much find everything you need with the Stelen label too. You'll get so many compliments, and then you might actually have to spill to all your friends where you got everything from...
And NEED has a refined but functional aesthetic. You can dress up its tops and pants or wear 'em more casually. It offers breezy wrap dresses and more statement-making designs too. Also in the mix are beanies, shoes, scarves, pens, and water bottles if you need to stock up on any of those.
YOOX: 8 by YOOX
Like The Outnet, YOOX also has a plethora of bargain designer finds (they're both part of the YOOX NET-A-PORTER group after all) and has tons of sales that make them even more of a bargain. (There's currently an 85-percent-off sale. Just saying.) It also has its own label 8 by YOOX, which, according to its own description "combines classic Italian design with contemporary silhouettes." Think luxe leather shirts, simple ballet flats, stylish midi skirts, and more.
MATCHESFASHION: Raey
MATCHESFASHION is also in on the "in-house" brand wave with Raey. While it's more (read: a lot more) expensive than the other labels listed, it's still less than you'd prob spend on actual designer clothing. If you don't mind splurging a lil on durable, everyday basics you'll get tons of wear out of, then you should definitely give it some consideration. (Currently eyeing those sheer pink socks, btw.)
