Taylor Swift comes out of hiding rocking her natural curls
She’s been off the radar for a large chunk of the past year but Taylor Swift has emerged from hiding to send a congratulatory video message to NBA MVP Russell Westbrook.
The look T-Swift was rocking was a major throwback to her early country music days as she was embracing her natural curls and she looked amazing!
Taylor sent the video to basketball player, Russell – who is apparently a major fan – to congratulate him on his achievement.
The video was shared on Twitter by his team, Oklahoma City Thunder.
In the message to Russell, Taylor says: “I was the one who taught you hwo to play basketball. I was the one who taught you to dribble, to shoot hoops, you know".
She was obviously being sarcastic, but even better in the message, she references one of her hit songs.
“I remember the first time you beat me and I was very upset. And you said, if you remember correctly, you said ‘You just have to shake it off.’ And I got an idea,” she joked.
What an honour to be credited for one of the most iconic songs of the decade, even if it is a joke!
The 27-year-old added: “So essentially we have each other to thank for these careers, obviously. So that’s why I’m part of your congratulations video because we got back, what, 20 years – actually that’s a fake story and I wish it were the truth.”

When she first hit the music scene in 2008, Taylor’s signature look was her bouncy blonde curls.
For the past few years the singer has gone for a more sleek, straight look with her hair but we are totally digging the return of her natural waves.
