Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Concert Film Crosses $200 Million at the Global Box Office
Three weeks after its release, 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' has reached a major box office milestone
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film is continuing to reach milestones at the box office.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour crossed $200 million at the global box office over the weekend, the film’s distributor AMC announced in a press release on Monday. The film documenting the acclaimed, career-spanning tour from the pop superstar, 33, hit the major benchmark just three weeks after it arrived in theaters worldwide on Oct. 13.
As of this weekend, the concert film has now brought in a total of $150 million domestically.

On Nov. 2, the movie directed by Sam Wrench will be released into even more international markets, including Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Turkey.
When Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour arrived in cinemas, it opened to blockbuster ticket sales of $92.8 million in the U.S., making it the fifth-biggest opening of any theatrical release this year.

During its debut weekend, it also reached No. 1 at the box office in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Mexico, Australia, Germany and the Philippines.
The film featuring footage of the pop star’s Los Angeles concerts in August also shattered records for its genre. During its three-day opening weekend and Thursday night previews alone, The Eras Tour became the highest-grossing concert film of all time, beating out Justin Bieber's Never Say Never, which earned $73 million total over the course of its 2011 domestic run.
The concert film even broke records before it arrived in theaters. Within just 24 hours of the film being announced, it became AMC’s top earner for single-day ticket sales of all time.
The Grammy winner herself celebrated the release of the on-screen version of her live show with a premiere event in Los Angeles on Oct. 11. The “Cruel Summer” singer stepped out at the screening held at the Grove’s AMC theater in a strapless Oscar De La Renta gown made of textured floral cutouts and posed on a red carpet.

The pop star also gave a speech at the event. She said, “I've never had this much fun in my life as I have had on the Eras Tour. Just the most electric experience of my life and the reason for that is several things like my band, my dancers and crew.”
“We did this show rain or shine in sickness and in health no matter what was going on in our lives,” she continued. “And we did it with a grin on our face because of what greeted us on the other side.”
That night, the hitmaker also took to social media to announce the film was arriving in theaters a day earlier and to express her excitement for the release.
"Look what you genuinely made me do," she wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
"I can’t thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I’ve ever been a part of: The Eras Tour. And the best part is, it’s an adventure we’re still on together," the “Anti-Hero” artist said in reference to the upcoming international leg of the tour.
