The Block star's exciting family update: 'Everyone's a little bit shocked'
Haydn is set to become a dad again, with his wife Chelsea pregnant with their second baby, just months after their welcomed Matilda.
In very exciting news for The Block's Haydn, he and his partner Chelsea have announced they're expecting their second child after Chelsea gave birth to their first child during the first week of filming The Block 2024.
Haydn, who's appearing on the show with his best mate Ricky, initially found out he had been selected for The Block shortly after learning his partner Chelsea was pregnant. The couple had been trying unsuccessfully to have a baby for 10 years, going through multiple rounds of IVF before stopping and then falling pregnant naturally.
Haydn and Chelsea came to the decision that he'd still participate in The Block, despite the fact filming the show would clash with the birth of his first child, but neither of them expected baby Matilda to make her entrance into the world so soon into filming, with Haydn being sent off in a helicopter from the set of The Block to meet his new daughter.
"It was touch and go as I will be missing out on those crucial moments," Haydn previously said about his decision to still do The Block. "But the decision has been made and my lovely wife Chelsea has supported me through it."

Baby number two for The Block star
Chelsea told Woman's Day that baby number two had been quite unexpected and was conceived within the first month of Haydn being home from filming.
"Within the first month of him returning home it happened. Everyone's a little bit shocked. I guess when it rains, it pours," Chelsea, who is 14 weeks pregnant with a boy, told the publication. “Haydn and I were kept apart, as you know, with The Block for a period of time, so the reunion was lovely."
