"[The Faithfuls] are doing amazing TV and that's what I care about," Dillon said

The Faithfuls have yet to successfully target any of the Traitors on The Traitors Canada Season 2 (Mondays on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, streaming on Crave the next day). But the Traitors had the unique experience of murdering in plain sight in this week's episode, with Dillon, a lobbyist from Toronto, targeted as the victim.

"I will say only hot people are murdered in plain sight," Dillon told Yahoo Canada. "The U.K., Diane, she's the hottest, Ekin-Su, and now Dillon."

Looking back at the moment, it was a bit suspicious that Michael John would be talking to Dillon, because the two Traitors players never really spoke throughout the game.

"Day 1 we had met at the gathering party, and ... this is my first experience on Canadian TV and reality TV, which I love, so of course I wanted screen time," Dillon shared. "I think it started raining, so he had started singing ["Thunderstruck"] by AC/DC and I was like, 'Great, copyright material, so none of this is usable, so I'm never going to talk to you again.'"

"[The] other time I talked to him was to say, 'You were close to the Nichelle, right?' And he's like, 'Oh, she might have murdered herself.' ... Can't do that. And the other time, it's not on camera, but I really thought Mike and Mike knew each other, just because, why would you cast two people named Mike that are both podcasters, that are around the same age. So I was like, 'Do you guys know each other? Tell me more.'"

But to Dillon's own admission, he wasn't specifically "Traitor hunting" throughout his time in the manor, and largely following the pack on a lot of the roundtable votes. That being said, he did suspect Kevin and Lauren were Traitors, although they're really Faithfuls.

"I thought that Kevin was definitely a Traitor, just because he had so much experience on reality TV, and then Lauren, because she's gorgeous and she's really calculated," Dillon said. "So I kind of locked in on those two, but I wasn't going to call them out, because if I was friends with them or close with them, then what's the reason for calling them out?"

Once the murder in plain sight drama subsided, we reached another heated roundtable discussion. That led to Jasmee, a music artist from Toronto, adding to the list of banished Faithfuls. But after walking into the breakfast room accusing Lauren of being a Traitor, Jasmee had a feeling this was coming.

"I think I [dug] my own grave," Jasmee said.

"I completely regret it. I should just kept my loud mouth closed. But then, at that point in that game, I was so sleep deprived, I was frustrated. I'm like, 'How are we not capturing the first Traitor? What's wrong with us Faithfuls? And I was like, 'No, I'm going to go all in.' And I even, said ... 'I don't care if I get murdered.' ... I should just kept my mouth shut. I know some of the people were suspicious of me, but hey, I put myself on the line for my team."

While you may be thinking that the Faithfuls are having a rough performance this season, Dillon disagrees, stressing that the group is providing the entertainment we need for the show.

"[The Faithfuls] are doing amazing TV and that's what I care about," Dillon said. "I don't care about the Traitor hunting."

But the now murdered player did recognize that the Traitors are maybe playing "too safe" this season.

"As a big fan of The Traitors, I will say that I think one of the things that they're not really putting across is the Traitors usually turn on each other a little bit more than these are," he said. "I think Kyra and Neda are kind of messing up a little bit, because they're losing $5,000 in this episode because they didn't out Michael John."

"Michael John kind of was just an odd duck that I think people were just like, he's too odd to be a Traitor, that's what I was thinking. ... I think the Traitors are playing too safe by keeping someone like Michael John there too long."

From Jasmee's perspective, where the Faithfuls are being challenged is that they haven't been able to work together.

"We weren't working as a team, we were all kind of working independently, and I think everyone was so suspicious of each other," she said. "We didn't have the right conversations and so we we weren't creating proper alliances."

"I had Melinda and Tranna. I love them. They had my back. Us three water signs had each other's back. But then a lot of people were suspicious of us too, and we're very verbal about how we think, and we're ... emotional. ... But I think speaking up really sabotaged us. I think if we worked better as a team, [that] would have helped."
