Three signs The Traitors' Minah could fall at the final hurdle

OPINION: I think Minah has played a fantastic game, but is she about to get banished just days before the final of the BBC show?

Hats off to The Traitors star Minah. I think the call centre manager has played a very savvy game and I admire her. Her Traitors journey so far has been almost too perfect.

Before filming the BBC show, she said that she was like last year's Traitors winner: the cool, calm, and collected Harry who charmed his way to stealing the £95,000 prize pot. I couldn't have said it better myself.

"I feel like I have a very similar personality to Harry," Minah said. "In this game, I will cheer everyone on in the Missions to get them done and to get the money. Secretly you're thinking, I need this lot to work hard to earn my money that I'm going to take at the end."

Her name wasn't even whispered as a potential suspect in the castle walls until Wednesday's episode. From the very beginning, I was sure I had sussed out The Traitors series three and that Minah would have what it takes to win the BBC show.

How Minah managed to oust well-liked Tyler from the game was impressive. She planted the seed to Freddie that Leon, Tyler, Leanne and Livi were a "clique" and "obviously" one of them had to be a Traitor. Despite not knowing what "clique" even meant, Freddie used Minah's own words to topple Tyler and banish him from the game.

Then when selecting the Faithfuls for the death match, Minah encouraged her fellow Traitor Linda to hide the peacock feather pen under her jumper and to use her writing on the picture. There was no way she was putting pen to paper because she knew the writing would be on the wall about who the Traitors identity could really be.

And of course, when the time came Minah knew she had to cast her vote for Linda at the roundtable, cementing her fate (and even got her blessing to do so). Linda had been marvellous fun on The Traitors, with her theatrics, even if to all of us at home, the fact she was a Traitor was staring the Faithfuls all in the face.

But, for all of Minah's canny gameplay so far, I think there are signs that the Traitor may actually fall before the final hurdle.

The mum from Liverpool is quickly losing her closest allies in the game.

Linda is gone. We will all miss her but not as much as Minah who is now left vulnerable as the solitary Traitor. They had pledged to the sisterhood of Traitors and they were each others confidants. With the retired opera singer gone, how will Minah fare?

Of course, one possible mistake Minah may have made was choosing to get rid of Dan. The bank risk manager from Liverpool was her most loyal aide in the game.

They were inseparable at times — until he marked her in the 'Ceremony of Truth' mission because he knew it would win the shield, despite her pleas not to be chosen because she didn't want molasses poured in her hair. When Dan wasn't willing to confess, Minah happily swayed the roundtable against him.

The numbers are dwindling on both sides of the Faithfuls and Traitors.

There are less places to hide and Minah's future on the show is less certain as the statistical likelihood of her being a Traitor grows with each banishment and murder.

The fire will be on the Scouser herself as finally the Faithfuls have begun to voice their darkest suspicions that their friend may in fact be a Traitor. It has been noticed how she is in every conversation, swaying opinions and sowing seeds. Having previously sailed through unnoticed, how will Minah be able to wrangle herself out of suspicion?

We have yet to see how Minah will cope with the additional pressures within the castle walls. Will she be able to handle the heat of the roundtable?

If the call centre manager can be as cool as she has been throughout the game, perhaps she can escape unscathed.

Will Charlotte be recruited on The Traitors?

Having lost the sisterhood of Linda, Minah has been tasked with recruiting a Faithful to the dark side. Unlike Anna, the offer was an ultimatum: join the Traitors or be murdered.

After much deliberation with host Claudia Winkleman, Minah said she wanted to stay true to the sisterhood and recruit another female. She settled on Charlotte, who interestingly has already proved to audiences at home she is a gifted liar — thanks to faking her Welsh accent from the beginning.

There is a question mark over whether Charlotte will accept the offer and how she will be able to step into the role of the newly recruited Traitor. Of course Charlotte could refuse to join but the bigger risk at stake is that Charlotte will throw Minah to the wolves after her hard work.

But that's all part of the game. I can't wait to see if it plays out in Minah's favour. Will all her hard work pay off?
