This Morning's air fryer Christmas dinner leaves viewers confused
A controversial Christmas dinner cooking method has split opinion amongst viewers.
What did you miss?
The air fryer craze went a little too far for some This Morning viewers when a TV chef attempted to cook a whole Christmas dinner in one.
A Christmas cooking segment in Tuesday's episode provoked strong opinions as air fryer enthusiast Nathan Anthony left people scratching their heads over his festive recipe.
What, how, and why?
The air fryer is hands down the most popular kitchen gadget at the moment, but This Morning viewers felt things might have gone a little far when a TV chef tried to demonstrate cooking a whole Christmas dinner in it.
Introducing the air fryer Christmas dinner segment, host Rochelle Humes said: "A Christmas dinner in an air fryer? My mum will go mad."

Her co-host Dermot O'Leary agreed: "I mean, I'm in because it looks really tasty, but do your family not just disown you? How's your gran about this?"
But chef Nathan Anthony - labelled "the air fryer king" by the show - claimed: "My gran has an air fryer, she's using it."

Anthony went on to demonstrate cooking Christmas dinner in the air fryer, complete with sprouts, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, and a turkey which he called "just a really big chicken".
However, viewers might have felt claims of being able to cook a whole Christmas dinner in the gadget were not quite accurate as Anthony clarified: "I'm not saying cook the whole thing in your air fryer but it is such a good back up to give you more space and more time."
He also said that before the turkey's 90-minute cooking time, it had been brined for "three or four days".
Viewers were not convinced, as one person commented on X: "Christmas dinner in the air fryer instant no for me."
Others questioned the logistics as one person asked: "A whole christmas dinner in air fryer? How'd you do gravy then."
Someone else asked: "How do you parboil in an air fryer?"
Another viewer commented: "How big is this guy’s Air fryer to be able to do a whole Christmas dinner..surely it would take longer than the traditional way ?"
Someone else added: "You can't fit all this into one airfryer. So your oven is still going to be on."
One eagle-eyed viewer pointed out: "THERE IS A PAN IT ISN’T ALL IN AN AIR FRYER"
Despite Anthony producing an impressive Christmas dinner, not every viewer was sold on the new way of cooking.
One person commented: "At the airfryer stage for christmas dinner stop and think do i really want this what alternatives do i have to eat if the answer is none then try a takeaway."

Presenter Rochelle Humes' husband JLS star Marvin Humes is currently starring in I'm A Celebrity as one of the campmates, and she gave her views on one of the talking points from Monday night's show.
Humes was shown serenading Britney Spears' younger sister Jamie-Lynn while she was in the bath, as the US star looked bemused at what was happening.
Rochelle Humes explained that producers had called her before Monday's show to let her know what would be happening and said: "Lucky I'm not the jealous type, as I'm here with all the kids."
She also commented on her husband showing Sam Thompson some of JLS' dance moves, saying: "I'm in a WhatsApp chat with the other JLS wives and we were like, we think he got them right.
"He's not known for being the one teaching the dance moves."
