Jeff Goldblum reckons his Thor: Ragnarok character the Grandmaster should get his own spin-off movie, and we're totally on board to be honest.

The actor was recently asked about the fan favourite character in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the host said he would love to see the baddie get his own Marvel outing.

"I would, too," Goldblum agreed. "I love all those guys at Marvel, and [president of Marvel Studios] Kevin Feige. But the director of that, Taika Waititi, he's a genius!"

Well, perhaps once he's cleared out his busy schedule, Waititi could get another Marvel movie under his belt? After all, Ragnarok went down a storm.

Goldblum has also confirmed to Digital Spy that the Grandmaster is indeed alive after the events of Avengers: Infinity War - which would leave him primed for his own movie.

"Grandmaster is more superheroed than all of them put together. You can't kill me, I'm like a vampire," he said.

"I'm deathless and I can kill people by looking at them. Or I can resurrect them just by looking at them and thinking of them. I can do everything. Being able to do all of that, all I want to do is play games. So, really, I'm everywhere and nowhere. I'm like Keyser Söze."

"Yes, yes, yes," Goldblum then confirmed when asked whether or not his character is alive. "I could be, potentially, very much around. Anything they want me to do I'd be ready and able."
