Three civilians were wounded in a Russian cluster munition attack on the Snovska community of Ukraine’s northern Chernihiv Oblast at 11 a.m. EET, regional governor Vyacheslav Chaus reported on Telegram on May 13.

Houses, cars, and civilian infrastructure were damaged in the attack, which hit the community shortly after a ballistic missile threat alert was issued by the Ukrainian Air Force.

On May 9, Chernihiv Oblast governor said that Russia intended to target critical infrastructure in the administrative center of Chernihiv.

Bryzhynskyi reminded residents that critical infrastructure includes telecommunications towers, thermal power plants, gas distribution stations, administrative buildings of government agencies, and similar facilities. He urged city residents not to ignore air raid alerts, to seek shelter, avoid gatherings, and stay clear of critical infrastructure sites.
