TikTok underboob 'hack' for free Disney World T-shirt divides opinion
A woman has taken to TikTok to share her unusual 'hack' for scoring a free t-shirt at Disney World in Florida.
Amanda, who posts to the account @amandaaadimeo, uploaded a video explaining how she was given a $97 (USD$75) long-sleeved top free of charge when she walked through the park gates.
'Exposing my underboob'
It all had something to with the US mum's outfit, specifically her red top that featured a large cutout that exposed her stomach right up to the lower portion of her chest.
According to Amanda, when she entered the Magic Kingdom area she was stopped by a park staffer — known as 'cast members' — who issued her a gift shop voucher for a free shirt because she was 'exposing my underboob a little bit'.
"If you're wearing a shirt that shows a little underboob they'll write you a ticket for when you first enter Magic Kingdom so you can get a free shirt at the nearest gift shop," she explained in the video.
"I just got a $75 (AUD$97) T-shirt just because I was wearing a shirt that was exposing my underboob a little bit," she added.

Clearly thrilled with her 'cute' freebie, Amanda posed in the pink top and thanked the theme park for the new addition to her wardrobe.
"OK but it's so cute and if it's free it's for me," she wrote. "Thank u Disney."
The Disney World website outlines the park's dress code, stating;
"Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests."
It went on to define the type of attire considered inappropriate — and which may result in refusal of entry —as;
"Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment."
'Don't do it again'
The reaction to Amanda's video was mixed, with some TikTok users applauding her so-called hack while others were outraged.
"Well dang I've been going about my Disney trips all wrong these last five years. Thanks girl!" wrote one.
"Yo the Disney entrance is going to be WILD for the next few months," remarked another.
A third said they didn't see why Amanda's top wouldn't meet the dress code.
"I looked at the shirt and thought it was perfectly appropriate. If your kid has been to a public pool, especially in a change room, they've seen more," they argued.
Others shared their similar experiences at the park.
"This happened to me because I was wearing a halter top that ties," wrote one.
One TikTok user warned: "Just don't do it again. Disney catches on to people doing things like this and has banned/flagged people".
"Please don't abuse this, as a cast member it's really stressful for us," another wrote. "They [park management] start to put more rules and whatnot."
When one TikTok user claimed that Amanda's story was the 'biggest lie ever' a former cast member set them straight.
"I'm thinking it depends on whoever told her," they replied. "I worked at Disneyland in California and they will straight turn you away and make you go buy one."
